William Rumbavage, DVM
Dr. Rumbavage graduated from veterinary school at Auburn and practiced both small and large animal medicine. After graduation, he opened Rankin Animal Clinic and eventually opened Lakeland Animal Clinic in 1986. He owns and manages cattle and married is to his wife, Ann. In his free time, he enjoys visiting his grandson William Jr. in Washington, D.C.
Chloe Barnett Emery, DVM
Dr. Emery is originally from Jackson, MS and attended LSU for undergrad and veterinary school. She graduated in 2018 and has worked at Lakeland Animal Clinic since graduation. She also works part-time at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center. Dr. Emery has an English Bulldog named Rocco and is married to her husband Gray. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, tennis, pickleball, fishing and riding horses at her grandparents' farm in Vaughan, MS.

Ashley Spivey
Ashley Spivey grew up in Jackson, MS, and now lives in Canton, MS with her husband, one of her three children, three dogs and two cats. She taught preschool for 16 years, then decided to pursue her passion for animals. She graduated from the Hinds Community College vet tech program in 2016 and couldn't be happier taking care of your fur babies here at Lakeland Animal Clinic.
Dr. Charlee Mulligan
I’m from Jackson, MS. I went to Mississippi College and received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in biology. I graduated from MSU CVM with my DVM in May of 2021. Since then I have been working at AERC. My husband and I live in Pearl with our menagerie. I am interested in exotic and companion animal medicine but don’t shy away from any animal. I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my veterinary career with Dr. Emery at Lakeland Animal Clinic.
Halina Shofstall
Vet Tech
Halina is originally from Picayune Mississippi, but moved to Jackson with her husband, three cats, and dog, and has been with Lakeland Animal Clinic for the past year. She has been working as a Vet tech for 6 1/2 years and loves what she does! She is currently in her second semester at Penn Foster online school and is working towards becoming a certified vet tech, she pours her passion and caretaking into the patients seen here everyday!
Presley Brewer
Receptionist
Presley Brewer is a Pearl High School graduate and received her associate degree from Hinds Community College in 2022. She is currently working on her bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center. She started working with us in 2020 and absolutely loves it. She enjoys fishing, traveling, and her friends and family.
